This is very close to Charleston. Great sites and easy to get into. The camp host is wonderful and knowledgeable. We wanted to see so much we stayed 6 days. Dogs on leash at the sites.

This park is in the lower part of the Buffalo National River. It had amazing bird watching and views of the Buffalo River. We stayed in one of the reservable spots with electric and water. The park was constructed by the CCC, and the sturdy hiking trails and pavilions show that. The nearby Indian Rock House trail took us to an amazing cave. The site was level and plenty large for our travel trailer. The bathrooms were very clean and modern by National Park standards. Each site had a fire ring with grate and lantern pole. The staff were polite and helpful. The ranger patrolled every few hours while we were awake. The kids liked riding their bikes on the paved surfaces of the campground.

This park was pretty nice. Good level slab. Quiet. Clean. The owner could have been a little friendlier. But over all a pretty good experience.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount and an additional 5% discount for cash. Must be summer rate, I guess. Long, level, gravel sites. Freeway noise, but is mostly a whoosh as evening sets in. Plenty of nearby trash barrels instead of an overflowing dumpster. No train noise. Cable TV is great — about 70 channels. Verizon internet good.

As others have said, this is a good park for an overnight. Very quiet, yet close to I 15 and I 40. Regardless of what Trailerlife says, they do have 50 amp (it’s extra). And they do have Wi-Fi for $ 5 a day ($ 25 a week). We had no problem getting in our site in a 38′ motorhome. And another 50′ bus chassis with a dingy came in after us, so they can handle big rigs. Staff are very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

This is the prettiest state park we have ever stayed in. We were in the “A” loop, and while we did not have a waterfront site, we had a great view of the lake nonetheless. The park has wonderful facilities, and lots of activities. This is definitely a favorite of ours, and we will return.

Nice shady campground on the Snake River (one of four owned and managed by Idaho Power Co.) located on Hwy 86, 1/4 mile North of Hwy 71 (GPS Coordinates: N44.97421 W116.85800) near the entry of Hells Canyon at an elevation of 1738′. It is a first come first serve campground, located 70 miles NE of Baker City. The closest grocery store, as well as diesel fuel stop is in Halfway, OR 17 miles away. Our Verizon worked reasonably well, but there is a pay phone available on site if needed. We would have ranked this campground higher, but due to parking bumpers placed everywhere to protect the grass, it made it extremely difficult to maneuver our rig in and out of the campground /site. We would return, but would call first to check availability (541-785-7209).

This is a very nice small campground. The sites are level and have a nice patio. All sites are back-in. The utilities worked well and it has one of the fastest Wi-Fi we have used. The pool is nice and clean. It has a laundry room, but no restrooms or showers. The entrance goes through a used car lot, but we had no trouble getting in and out with our motorhome and tow vehicle. The owners/operators are very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

Campground is located across the street from Graceland. Rate includes parking at Graceland ($ 15 for RVs) the day we left, so consider it a bargain. Good TV reception and well stocked store. Elvis music played on speakers – fun! Nice pavilion for cooking, but it was too cold to use the pool. Don’t go to Marlowe’s for BBQ, very touristy, not very good. I’d return to park, it was fun!
